Description:
For your consideration, a Winchester model 1873 chambered in .38-40 Winchester Centerfire. The round barrel is marked, "38 CAL" and is topped with Marbles v-notch and blade sights. The brass lifter is likewise marked, "38 CAL." Condition evidences the intervening 135 years of use, but not abuse. Overall, the finish is largely gone, only remaining on the loading gate. This example dates to 1886. .38 WCF
