4-screw pre-model 29 .44 Magnum revolver with 6.5"" barrel. The gun has about 97% blue and looks great, but the grip frame has been altered for some reason. The front corner of the grip frame has been cut off, perhaps to accommodate some type of unusual grip? Otherwise the gun is fine, with excellent bore and action. The grips are smooth walnut presentation grips with one chip out of one panel. A very desirable ""Dirty Harry"" .44 magnum.
