Here's A Fine Example of a Winchester 1866 Factory Engraved Deluxe Rifle ! serial number 78814 . Assembly Numbers are 307 . 44-40 caliber . 24" Octagon Barrel . Bore and Mechanics are in very good condition . Gun is in Excellent working order. The finish on the barrel and tube have turned to a grey brown patina . Lever and hammer are a silvery patina . The frame and butt plate seam to be a Silver finish with more than half still remaining. The Engraving and markings are still sharp ! 2X deluxe wood has been refinished some time ago . But still Stunning! Overall a Excellent Example of a Legendary 1866 rifle ! Please review my photos and please email me with any questions? 3 day inspection as allways.
