Description:
This rifle is a prime example of the days when military actions were abundant and riflemen were dreaming of custom rifles and Wildcat cartridges. Life started out as a Mauser military action and became a sporting rifle in a powerful caliber. The 375-338 magnum has evolved to the 375 Ruger today but the only way to get this round in the past was to build it yourself. The action has been polished with a high gloss blue and fitted by McGowan with a 24 inch polished barrel. I believe the stock is Fagen or Bishop but do not know for sure. The metal is in excellent condition and the wood is very good with the exception of a nick shown in the photograph.
