Let me start out by saying I have seen many nice Gewehr 71/84s in the last 20 years. This is the best one hands down. It is truly unissued rifle with no unit markings. It literally is about a 98% gun with virtually no handling marks and no loss to the blue, 100% matching to the last screw, deep factory blue and nitro blue accents, mint bore, crisp tight action. Untouched open grain walnut stock is near flawless. Even cartouches are still blond, the way they are supposed to be once the rifle comes out of factory. There is some light patina specs on the receiver and butt plate that could easily be cleaned up. The gun was made by Spandau arsenal in 1888 ( 133 years old) No license needed to buy except NJ residents. Will ship international where legal. Visa/MC add 3%.
