This is a MINT, unissued original 1955 production Enfield No. 4 Mk2 rifle. This Enfield was produced at R.O.F Fazarkaly for a British Royal Air Force contract in 1955. With only 20,000 of them produced, this is a scarce variation. The rifle is in factory, unissued condition and still packed in cosmoline, which we have left in place. The matching wood stock is minty with no major scratches or chips. There is a small import stamp on the underside of the barrel, near the muzzle. All matching parts, including the magazine. If you are looking for this variation of the classic Enfield rifle, this one would be hard to upgrade.
