This first variation ac 42 9mm P.38 pistol was manufactured between January and March 1942. It has approx. 98% of its high gloss blue. The slide has the standard P.38 folllowed by ac over 42 followed by the serial number, 5328a, with the frame and barrel assembly serial numbers matching. The gun has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The numbered MATCHING magazine is correct for an ac 42 P.38 pistol. The mottled dark brown correct AEG grips are excellent. The action functions correctly. This is a totally correct ac 42 P.38 pistol.
