An Early Civil War Belgium Made Percussion Dueling Pistol In Its Original Double Casing With All Its Multiple Accessories In Excellent Condition. All original and comlete except for one of the pistols which was given to a nephew in the family 40 years ago. The Gun in the set has excellent metal, markings, and factory engraving. It is Belgium Proofed on the barrel. The fine engraving covers the lock, hammer, top tang, trigger guard & butt. The barrel has a full damascene finish on it. The fine burl wood has raised carving on it. The bore has excellent rifling and the action is excellent. The pistol measures 16 1/4 inches long with a 10 inch barrel on it. It looks to be about .50 caliber. The case is excellent throughout with fine original accessories inside it. The box measures 19 inches by 11 1/4 inches. This Is A Very Fine Looking Set That Deserves Finding Another Pistol Or A Pair Of Pistols For!
