An Early Civil War Tranter's Patent Second Model Percussion Revolver In Its Original Case With Accessories All In Excellent Untouched Condition. Serial #4,424, made in the early to mid 1850's. All original and complete. The caliber is .54 bore. The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and edges. The factory engraving on it is also excellent. The barrel, frame, backstrap, and trigger guard all retain their original factory blue. The cylinder retains its darkening case colors throughout it. The loading lever and hammer both retain their original factory polish on them. The original fine checkered grips are excellent throughout. The revolver has an excellent bore and action. The original case is nice throughout showing light wear. All accessories are excellent as shown. This Is An Early And Excellent Example Of A Civil War Second Model Tranters Percussion Revolver In Its Original Case With Accessories. Many Of These Revolvers Were Used By Southern Officers During The Civil War!
