A Scarce Pair Of Civil War Cased Moore's Patent Firearms Co. No. 1 Deringers In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #'s 2,008 & 2,972. All original and complete. Both deringers have fine metal, brass, markings, and factory engraving. Both guns have the same factory engraving which includes an arrow on both sides of their barrels. The top of both barrels have the "Moores Pat. F.A. Co. Brooklyn N.Y." markings on them. The barrels on the guns both retain most of their original silver finish on them. The brass frames retain about 1/2 of their silver. The two deringers match perfectly in condition. The rare all original wood case for the guns is in nice untouched condition with a fine all original interior lining. The outline of the two guns is visible in the lining when they are removed from the case. The set has a wonderful untouched look to it. This Scarce Boxed Set Of Civil War Moore Deringers Has A Wonderful Look To Them. They would Be A Fine Addition To Any Civil War Or Deringer Collection!
