A Very Early And desirable Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver In Excellent Condition. Serial # 24,137, with all matching numbers. Made very early in 1851, all original and complete, The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and perfectly clear cylinder scene on it. It has the New York City Barrel Address on it. The barrel on the gun retains all of its original factory blue on it with a couple of small spots just begining to lightly fade into a plum color. The very crisp cylinder has a natural light brown patina on it. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retain lots of their early mousey original factory case colors on them. The brass backstrap and trigger guard retain all of their original factory silver on them. All screws are excellent and retain their factory colors on them. The grips are mint throughout and retain all of their original factory finish on them. The gun has an excellent action and bore. This Is A Wonderful Untouched Example Of A Very Early Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Revolver Made In 1851!
