About Us: Antique Collector since 1985. I also have a few modern items that will require a FFL or C&R license. No exceptions. Happy collecting and investing in a product that continues to rise as material and labor costs rise. And the labor force becomes less about quality. China and Mexico items just don’t seem to last.

Description:
Sold !!!
Here’s a gun that was ahead of its time.  Cooper Double Action percussion made during the Civil War era.  I’m guessing they got bought out.  A lot of good stuff dies when it gets bought out.   The almighty dollar.  It’s all about the money.  Money is a good servant but a bad master.  Proverbs.  Can’t remeber the chapter and verse.
Anyway.   To make a long story longer.  I couldn’t find one that has sold recently at .  So I’m gonna go with a 1849 pocket in this condition.
Still has some case color.  A lot of blue.  Original varnish on the grips.  Action is as new.  Not sure it ever fired a shot in anger.  Probably sat in a desk drawer for most of its life.
3 digit serial numbers all match.   I think there was about 1000 of these made from 1861-63
check out my other items.  My wife wants me to sell enough.  So I can get down to a manageable number.
Mom glad we can only have one wife.   That’s about as many as you can manage.
