Here's another Gem from our Collection. This is a very Early Production Inland M1 Carbine with a 5 Digit Serial Number 77355 dating 10-1942. This gun is in all original factory configuration . The gun is stunning, including the Inland I-Cut High Wood Stock, and will make a great addition to any collection.  The parts list is as follows:
  • Receiver: INLAND S/N 77355 
  • Recoil Plate : INLAND Type 2 
  • Rear Sight: INLAND early Flip Sight marked S~
  • Barrel: INLAND 10-42 with a long skirt, bright and shiny bore, original crown, P proofed, ME slightly above 1
  • Barrel Band : Inland unmarked Type 1 with 3 weld scars and a Narrow Early Swivel
  • Front Sight: INLAND Type 1 marked N
  • Bolt: Early INLAND marked IO in a Circle on the large lug. Firing pin is type 1 INLAND and Extractor is INLAND W.I.
  • Slide: INLAND Early Arc Cut Type 2 marked IO in a Circle in the well
  • Trigger Housing: INLAND Type 1 with Front and Rear Bevels (Double Bevel)
  • Hammer: INLAND Type 1 Dog Leg with slot, marked HI
  • Trigger: INLAND marked RI
  • Mag Catch: INLAND Type 1A w/ long plain face marked EI
  • Safety: INLAND Type 1 unmarked serrated face with beveled edge
  • T.H. Pins and Springs: Correct INLAND springs including a 22 coil hammer spring, 15 coil sear spring, short mag catch/safety spring assy, common trigger spring
  • Stock: Beautiful Early INLAND I-Cut Highwood marked IO and a flaming bomb in the sling well. This stock is a light colored Walnut that was common of very early Inland Carbines. 
  • Hand Guard: Matching IO 2 Rivet 
  • Butt plate : INLAND Square pattern
