This National Postal Meter U.S. Carbine M1 Model is a right hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30 Carbine Cal. It has an 18 inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood. Serial Number 1509352. The Underwood barrel is date stamped 11-43 with the flaming bomb. .30 Carbine
