Sold...Tom...A fine and scarce Krieghoff S Code Luger that was made in 1936. This fine S Code has the finest fit and finish of any Lugers and they were made specifically for the Luftwaffe officers and quite a few were issued to German Paratroopers. All matching except the side cover, trigger and magzine. The trigger and side cover have the same high polish blue as the rest of the pistol...my guess it went back to Krieghoff for repair during the war...nothing appears to be force matched. The side plate does have the last 2 digits of the serial number in the same style numbers but not the Luftwaffe acceptance stamp that is usually stamped inside. I think one grip panel is matching and the other isn't. It has the distinct thumbprint in the blueing on the back of the action and a beautiful original factory high polish blue that Krieghoff's are known for. All internal parts are matching and correct, besides what i mentioned above. Beautiful shiny bore with strong rifling and no corrosion. Priced accordingly. The Nazi penants and RZM marked car mount are not for sale and only for display. This Luger will be shipped from FFL to FFL or C&R. USPS priority mail is 20.00
