Beautiful Colt 1911 military U.S. Army mfd in 1918 "Black Army". In perfect working order, in great condition (see pics). This model display the correct inspector mark on the left side of receiver by magazine release and the right lightening cuts under the grips (heart shaped cuts). The bore is in very good condition. The pistol display some original finish remaining with no pits or rust on the gun! It comes with proper two tone WWI magazine. Our gunsmith performed a Complete Professional Cleaning on this gun ($150 worth). The interested thing about this gun is that the "United States Property" on the left of receiver was skillfully removed back in the day, Most likely by the soldier who decided to keep this gun after WWI, as it was a common thing to do in those days!
