This Winchester was produced in 1928. The rifle's serial number is 10592. It has the heavy 28 inch barrel chambered for the 22 Long Rifle. The original sights are intact and work correctly This rifle has not been altered with newer style parts. It still has the military two stage trigger. it also does not have the speed lock. These features came out on the latter models. It also has the correct original 5 round magazine. The barrel has been factory tapped and have the scope bases installed. This feature was standard for this model Winchester. The rear sight works smoothly and is fully adjustable. The stock is in very fine original condition. The stock finish is fully intact. There is no alterations or damage to the wood. The stock would rate a 97% condition. The buttplate is the correct cross hatched style plate. The original bluing would rate a 98% overall condition.
