Description:
This is an RC Knipstein custom rifle in .270 Winchester. The action is a Belgian made FN 98 Mauser. The action and bolt have both been reheat treated. The components of this rifle had all matching numbers when I received it, except for the bolt which was not marked. The action has been mated to a Bartlein ss barrel 24" in length with a 10" twist. The stock is hand finished, hand checkered Circassian Walnut with forend, grip cap, and butt plate of Macasser Ebony. It also has a Fisher/Blackburn bottom metal and a Fisher steel grip cap. The trigger is a Timney Featherweight. The recoil pad is a Kickeez. This rifle also has Materpiece Iron sights from NECG.
