This is a handsome, non-retailer marked, 1896-made revolver that has exquisite, 3/4 coverage floral scroll and geometric engraving across the 97-98% original nickel finish. The gun has all matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel, and there are some scattered specks of dark brown freckling, especially along the gripstraps. The checkered Vulcanite grips are in fine condition with very few noticeable handling marks or blemishes. The barrel lock-up is tight and the mechanism is fully functional. The revolver is housed in a period, five compartment oaken traveling case with a lightly worn, original blue baize interior, 30 rd. cartridge block, key, turn-screw, and bore brush. This is a fantastic, cased .38 Webley, with exquisite scrollwork engraving, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. Antique SOLD Antique: Yes Manufacturer: Webley Model: Mk.
