My Borchardt has sold am awaiting the funds .
PRICE REDUCED BIG TIME from $8,980.00 TO $6,495.00 !This rare *** USA *** custom made Borchardt Deluxe Mid Range Rifle was made by Al Story and his team in Sliver City N.M. serial number 66, in 40/65 Wincheaster . cal. The barrel was also custom made by Al Story and is 30 inches long . Made "half round" with a "wedding band" separating the octagon barrel portion to the 1/2 round (see my scans). It also has a BRC "trigger job" LOP is 13 1/2 inches The pistole grip stock and forend is of Deluxe exhibition grade Walnut right hand stock with cheek rest. Also the reserver is inlade with Ebony panels (with a extra set) and the forend Snoble Tip is Ebony as well. . Checkering was done by a master craftswoman that goes by name of "Pam" in Big Timber Mt. The case coloring on the receiver leaver and pistol grip cap was done by the well known CLASSIC GUNS ( now no long in business sadly) . The action is one of the tightest BRC has ever made and is crisp as new. The engraving on this rifle was done by Master engraver Michael E Gouse in the style of Nimschke engraving (see my scans). Also it has a mint Axel SOULE Tang site the cost on this site IF yu can find one is about $600.00. The front sight is a proper hooded sight . My Buy It Now price on this rare Al Story Borchardt deluxe rifle is $6,495.00 buyer pays S&H costs plus insurance is a buyer option. A original Mid range Borchardt deluxe would sell for $45,000 to $50,000.00 would go out and shoot it? Is it made of modern Steel? Ths riffle is selling for a fraction of a original price and is like a new rifle NOT a 150 year old classic but a new classic.
