Description:
This is a deluxe example with figured walnut grips and scroll engraving. The backstrap is inscribed "Thomas Stevens".
The barrel retains a very high percentage of the original blue finish. The figured burl walnut grips have almost all of their original high polish varnish finish with only very minor marks. The backstrap and trigger gaurd retain much of their original gold plate. The action is good and the bore has sharp rifling with some staining. This gun is from the Frank Sellers Collection.
