***SOLD*** Marlin Model Golden 39A .22LR/L/S lever action rifle, dated to 1958-59. This rifle features the iconic Marlin Golden 39A lever action mechanism, with a blued frame, walnut furniture, and a blued finish on the barrel and magazine tube. The rifle is not fitted with the modern cross-block safety, only a half cock notch that may double as a type of safety mechanism. The rifle is in excellent overall condition, with nice bluing, and beautiful furniture, with only minor finish speckling and finish wear in small areas, particularly on the barrel. The stock bullseye is missing, which is typical for Marlins of this vintage. The action is smooth and the bore is excellent. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. A wonderful collectible, very hard to find in this condition! C&R OK.
