"U.S. Springfield Model 1795 Type III. Has been reconverted back to flintlock. Metal has a brown patina. Barrel length is 42". Lock has been expertly converted. Stock is good, has been lightly sanded. Faint “US" cartouche is visible. Lock is dated 1812.
