us springfield armory 1903, late 1908 production. RARE ALL ORIGINAL AND UNALTERED. The high wood stock hasd the red (logwood stain) that collectors like. cal. 30-06 24"bbl. barrel dated 05 staock s type 2 1908 , highwood with one crossbolt oilerhole in buttstock no groove for spare parts kit. Stock marked J.F.C. , J.F. Coyle and circle P with S on forend tip. Rear sight with platium wire inlay graduated to 2800yds straight bolt handle smooth and pointed trigger, smooth buttplate, stock has square corner beside the reciever ring on the right side, with original nickel plated brass oiler .
