Description:
A beautiful Dickinson 20 bore field gun in like new condition. This gun has been professionaly "anglicized" from an original, the forend has been shortened and reshaped with a sculped ebony tip. The butt stock has been reshaped and thinned. Both have been recheckered in 28 LPI checkereing. The original barrel bluing was removed and they were then rust blue to a fine sheen. These Dickinson shotguns were made in Turkey, originally for Smith and Wesson now Dickinson. Actions are true trigger plate actions as originally found on the British Ingram and Dickson round actions. and have beautiful case colororing. They are incredibly well made and finished throughout. Gun has up to 3in. chambers. Barrels are 28 in with removable chokes, LOP is 14 1/4 in. to a checkered horn butt plate. DAH 2 1/16 in., DAC, 1 1/2. It weighs 6 1/4 lbs. A light and lively bird gun. I have the original Dickinson box for it also. The gun has ejectors which have been disconnected - if you want this restored please specify.
