WW2 GERMAN MAUSER K98K BYF/44 8X57MM INFANTRY CARBINE. All original and matching except bolt and sight leaf. Matching stock and handguard with stock number matching gun. Even the bands and butt plate with matching numbers to go gun. Trigger guard/floorplate assembly also matching. Receiver stamped correctly “BYF/44” with Nazi Waffenampt “EAGLE/135” on right side and Nazi Army Ordnance “EAGLE” on right. Barrel with ordnance proofs at top of breech. Fine to excellent with much original blue and the original finish on the stock and forend. Perfect working order and very good bore with good rifling with some minor light frosting. D-Day year dated K98K. Handsome example.
