Description:
This is a used, but well cared for model 97 Winchester 12 guage slide action shotgun built in 1955. This gun has a 30" FULL choke barrel with a mirror bore. The gun carries nearly all of it's original factory blue finish on the barrel and reciever, with loss only in the action area. The factory walnut stocks have nearly 90% of their original finish, but shows a little varnish loss in a few areas. Wood fits proud to the metal and original butt plate, and displays no cracks or repairs. Extra care was taken when disassembled and reassembled, as no damage appears in the common area around the receiver. Gun action works as designed, and is still nice and tight. This is a very nice late production 97.
