*REDUCED* Truly, an excellent Pre-1964 Winchester. Not absolutely perfect, but not far from it.
All factory original finishes, with only small scattered nicks and dings. 20" barrel has a BEAUTIFUL, clean, crisp, shiny bore and rifling. Receiver interior looks great, and the action works smooth.
There is a missing screw in the lower tang; I believe it's the "strain" screw for the mainspring. Seriously, this mainspring already has plenty of tension, without that screw's help.
Note: a drivers license # discreetly inscribed on the side of the "lever plate" which can only be seen with the action open (I wish all DL#'s were applied with this much consideration)
Tight, crack-free wood. Very cool little pre-64 Carbine, ready for a new home.
