Description:
Winchester model 55 chambered in .30 WCF. In 1924 Winchester introduced an "updated" version of the Model 94 rifle, designated the Model 55. The Winchester Model 55 was fitted with a 24-inch barrel, and a half-magazine that held three cartridges chambered only in .30 WCF (Winchester Center Fire). Later the nomenclature of the round was changed to .30-30 Winchester. This rifle was manufactured in 1929 as a takedown model, it has seen use, but is in good condition for its age. Overall a very nice addition to a collection. .30 WCF
