An Early And Scarce 1790-1810 High grade Eliptical Brass Duck Bill Barreled Blunderbuss With A Flip out bayonet In Fine Plus Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The blunderbuss has fine untouched metal throughout including the lock, hammer, raised side plate, flip out bayonet, fancy trigger guard, ramrod pipes, ramrod, and butt plate. All of them are deluxe made with fancy and deluxe raised and fine engraving on them. The eliptical brass barrel is fine plus with a wonderful dark patina on it. The flip out bayonet is tight and operates perfectly. The wood on the gun is fine throughout with raised carving on the top behind the barrel and around the tang up to the fine checkering on the wrist. The gun has a fine bore and action. The blunderbuss is 24 1/2 inches in length. The barrel is 9 1/8 inches long, and 2 3/4 inches wide at the muzzle.
