Listing a Mossberg model 42m (c ) 22 caliber bolt action training rifle, s,l,or long rifle, 7 shot clip fed, what appears to be original sling swivels and looks to be original canvas sling, I've read this training model was mfg'd 1940-1944, has a 24" barrel , hooded front sight , blueing seems all original as is what appears to be original stock with trap door butt plate used to store extra clip. Rifle shoots and functions fine. These were extremely well built and accurate rifles. If your a collector this one is decent. I went on line and the rear side mounted peep sight can be had as well as an extra clip. I'm going to ask $350. shipped to the lower 48. This is a C&R eligible rifle.I'm not a dealer just a collector that's decided to part with some of my rifles.
