(Vincenzo) Bernardelli 20 Bore SxS Boxlock Extractor Model Gamecock Made in 1965 with 25" Extractor Demibloc Barrels with a hidden third bite at .619" .008 & .028" (Imp.Cyl. & Full), Factory marked Cyl. & Imp.Mod., Original 3" chambers, Double triggers, Scalloped action back, 2 retainer screws on key screws, Splinter forend with a frontal Anson, Straight hand stock at 14 1/4 x 1 1/2 x 2 5/16" over the factory buttplate, It will go 15" LOP with a 1" pad added, Neutral stock for the right or left hand, 5 lbs. 12 oz.; Jeweled barrel flats and receiver flats, 10% coverage of border and scroll engraving, The gun retains 97% original deep blue on the barrels, 90% factory case colors on the receiver, The wood is 90% with scattered hunting marks, The checkering remains at 99%, The bores are excellent plus, The piece is smack on the face with excellent bite remaining, The barrels ring with a nice chime. I have always felt these V. Bernardelli side by side guns were a lot of gun for the money. The gun was imported by Stoeger Arms Corp. and so marked.
