This is the scarce third variation ac 43 Walther P38 with the single line ac 43 code toward the rear of the slide. The 9mm bore is fine with light firing wear. The gun retains approx. 95% of its military blue finish. Interestingly, the serial, 1943m, matches the date of the gun. This variation was produced from late October through December 1943. The black plastic grips are very good with no cracks or chips. The E over 359 inspected magazine is correct  The action functions correctly. This is a very difficult to find P38 variation.
