Six round SA revolver with 6"" octagonal barrel. The bore is very good, mirror bright with one shallow area of pitting. The action works perfectly. The cylinder locks up on time. The pistol has approximately 98% of its original blue. The grips are good with handling marks. The right side of the frame is Japanese marked. The Japanese characters indicate that this was issued to the Tokyo Police, likely during the Meiji period. This is an exceptional example of a S&W No.2!
