Description:
This is a model 1936 it is the rare "first model" it does not have the leter prefix in the serial # and has the fluted stock indicating it was the first of the 1936 model runs probably manufacured in 1936 SN 2472. The action is tight and seems to be in very good mechanical condition. The Stock has been shortened to12-3/4" and does not have a butt plate on it. The barel has much of its original bluing on it. It does fade to silver at the Top when it approaches the receiver. Most of the case coloring has silvered but it is still visible on the left side some on the right and under the lever and on the tang. It is drilled for a has been factory drilled for a tang sight. The Bore is mirror like and has crisp rifling.
