Description:
This is a very fine condition 2nd Model Allen conversion to 50-70 Government caliber. The barrel is 36 5/8” finished in the white. It has the 1864 lock and the 1866 eagle head stamp on the breechblock. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight with a very good bright and shiny bore and strong rifling. The wood stock has a nice cartouche and only a few small dings. The bayonet is marked US J with leather frog and scabbard.
I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items.. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TRADE? Ask about our 30-90 day lay-away program. We accept Bank Check, Money order, Personal checks or wire transfer.
