Description:
This Civil War Era revolver is basically a knock off of Colt's wonderful Model 1849 Pocket Model with the added feature of being double or single action in function, something unheard of at the time. No doubt many soldiers who could afford to carried one of these as a pocket or hideout gun during the conflict. This specimen appears original in all respects. The wedge screw has a half portion of the slotted head broken off but that does not seem to be a major problem at all. Grips are original and excellent condition. Serial range of this revolver is 598x. A very nice Civil War artifact indeed!
