Description:
Springfield Armory® XD40 4" Service pistol is an ergonomically designed Semi-Auto Pistol meant for personal defense. Its design is inherently rapid to deployment and points on target naturally. It has a durable polymer frame and Melonite-coated forged steel slide for long lasting durability and reliability. A grip safety and a trigger safety prevent accidental discharge; and a loaded chamber indicator and striker status indicator give both visual and tactile indication whether the gun is loaded and ready to fire in any lighting condition. Posi-wedge slide serrations provide a solid hold on the slide when loading and unloading the pistol. Three dot dovetail sights provide rapid sight acquisition.
