#110980, Winchester 45-70 Model 1886 Deluxe Saddle Ring Carbine That Went to Winchester's Warehouse December 16, 1897, Lettered as a Carbine and shipped from the warehouse on June 27, 1898, Bought 20 years ago with Deluxe features with full checkering and then sent to Turnbull Restoration for a complete and total restoration, 22" round carbine barrel, An adjustable Carbine Rear Series 42 Sight with a sliding blade for elevation, Integral front sight base with a blade post, Full length magazine, Deluxe checkered grip and forend, 13 7/16" LOP to a steel shotgun buttplate, 7 lbs. 10 oz., This piece has been completely upgraded with the classic Turnbull case colors, The barrel and magazine tube blue is at 100%, The case colors are 100%, The stock finish is at 99%, The checkering is 100%, The bore is a 7 out of 10 with sharp rifling the entire way and no pits. There are surface blemishes in the bore but nothing serious and without any pitting that would hinder shooting or accuracy. This piece is accurate at 75 yards with the carbine sights. This is a very nice 45-70 Carbine with a bore that will last another lifetime.
