Presenting a 95 per cent condition Browning Model Challenger 2 in caliber 22 Long Rifle. The firearm has a 6.75 Inch barrel, bluing is very good on the firearm, and the bore is clean. This firearm doesn't have the box or manual.
This firearm includes a certificate of authenticity signed by USAF Lt. Col. Thomas D. Smith III that it is from his collections.  Lt. Col. T.D. Smith III, Olympic Gold Metal winner in 1963 with the US International Pistol Team who set the record which is still unbroken after all these years of 597x600. Lt. Col. Smith also broke 79 National and World Records and 2 Pan American Games. Lt. Col. Smith was an F-4E pilot in Vietnam.  In 1966, when the C47 transport plane he was a passenger in broke apart over the mountains in Greece.  After falling 5,000 feet without a parachute, Lt. Col. Smith's actions saved lives of three other servicemen and he was awarded the Airman's Medal for extraordinary heroism.  After his service with the USAF, he has dedicated his life to adventure, big game hunting and long-range shooting.  Lt. Col. Smith is the inventor of the TDS Recticle, which carries his namesake.
