Winchester pre-war Model 42 in 90%+ original condition. 26" barrel chambered for 3" shells with a modified choke. The solid rib is in excellent condition with a gold front bead. The barrel markings are correct and well struck. The Bore is like new. It chambers and feeds 410 shells flawlessly. There is cycling wear and some handling marks on the wood with a scratch on the left side of the buttstock that does not show well in the photos. 13 3/4" LOP over an original hard rubber butt plate. This is a great find for the Winchester collector who prefers unmodified and original weapons. Model 42s in this condition are hard to find and especially with a solid rib and this will make a nice addition to your collection. Please call Raff at 760 497 7836 if you have any questions.
