Here is an excellent Lee-Speed patent .303 sporter, finished and retailed by Edwinson Green & Sons. The barrel is 24 1/2" with an excellent bore. There is a raised front sight. The rear sights consist of one standing and two folding leaves, marked 100/200/300, with a platinum sight line. There is also a ladder sight marked to 1800 yards. The action cycles as it should, and the tang safety functions properly. The rifle has classic large British sling eyes. The figured stock has an ebony fore-end tip, and a length of pull of 14 3/8" over a smooth butt-plate with a trap for a cleaning rod. A handsome rifle in excellent condition, ready for your collection or for the field.
