Description:
Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle chambered in .38-55, dated to 1904. This rifle features the classic and iconic Winchester 1894 lever action, designed by John Browning himself, and has established itself as the most common sporting rifle in the world. This particular rifle features a rich blued finish, with solid walnut furniture, as well as a rifle lenth round barrel and full length magazine tube. This 1894 is in truly excellent condition for its age. Still sporting most of its original finish, the rifle only has small areas of wear and signs of age, as shown in the photos. The action is smooth and tight, hammer and trigger are fully operable, and as a special bonus, the bore has sharp, shiny rifling with only very small dark spots in areas. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle. This is a truly spectacular example of an early 1894, in a very desirable caliber.
