Description: ON LAYAWAY THRU 12/8/21 Near new condition, was a retirement gift and never made it to Africa. Only 10lbs and with a goodly LOP and cast on for LH shooter and very nice wood with acres of well-cut fine checkering. This was ordered from England as a case colored gun with minimal engraving except for a gold inlaid banner on the trigger bow bearing the owner's name; it was then custom-engraved by J. Smets after the colors were removed. So now for the hard facts: LOP is 15 5/8" thru a 3/4" original solid red rubber pad (silver's type). Lever forend, semi beaver. Drops (to the first leaf) 1 5/8" and 2 3/4", with about 3/8" cast on. Balances an inch forward of the hinge pin. 24" barrels with mint bores. Cased in a modern leather case.
