Description:
Beautiful brass "cannon barrel" percussion pistol. Approximately 5.5" long total length, barrel is approximatley 2.5" long. Belgium proof marks on left side of pistol (ELG) c. 1850. This pistol was designed to be small and eay to conciel, also called a boot or muff pistol.
The brass barrel is in very good condition with no polishing and a nice patina throughout. The wood pistol grip (handle) has some handling marks, but is also in very good condition. This is a beautiful example of Belgium manufactured pistols mid 1800s.
