Description:
26 inch round barrel chambered in 38-55 caliber with a full length mag tube and crescent style butt. A good bore with shine and just a few light pits. Crisp action. Sights include a Lyman fixed bead front and a Winchester sporting rear. Also has a folding tang sight. Barrel and mag retain good original blue in the protected areas with the balance thinning to a gray color. Receiver has about half of its blue remaining with nice traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Buttplate has mostly silvered out. Wood is in nice condition with some light usage mars and traces of original varnish still present. Just a good honest looking rifle that has seen use but was taken care of. A good gun for the money!
