Listed for sale is a rare and hard to find Original French Model 1777 Corrige' ( Corrected) An IX Dragoon Musket. It is 68 Caliber and 55 3/4 inch in length having a barrel length of 42 1/2 inches. This gun is in very good condition and is well marked. All mounts are brass with the exception of the middle barrel band. The lock works fine and the barrel has only very minor pitting inside. This gun is in very good condition for its age. This is an original Flintlock gun that has not be re-converted. I've had it examined by a gunsmith who specializes in old guns and flintlocks and he states it has not been converted. I also ran a scope down the barrel and there is no sigh of a reconversion near the breech.
