Here is a nice estate bought Uncleaned as found condition all matching serial numbers right down to the wedge. Serial # 68053. Mfg date 1857 . The loading lever had a old field repair as it was moved back about 1/2 a inch . Period done no question . Left the first original loading lever catch groove and added one for the modification at the time. This Colt is. Scarcer US government issued Colt Navy M-1851. One US Government issued cartouch visible on grip. Nice gun and priced to sell.
