Sold to Laurie in Eau Claire, WI //This is an original Ballard cast receiver for a 22lr rimfire. I believe its from a Model #3 based on the fact that its a cast receiver and given the top of the receiver is concave as opposed to being flat. It has the Ballard three line address on the left side... some of it is pretty feint. The stock tang/part for the stock thru bolt does match the receiver SN. The clam shells numbers do not match, BUT they are for a rimfire gun. Please note that the trgger, main spring and trigger spring are inside the clam shells BUT the hammer is not. (Please see the photos). the through bolt is also a Ballard style.
We have a full sized finger loop lever that is photographed with this action. The lever was bent to give it a larger trigger bow...to make it work on this action would require heating the lever and bending it a bit. you can see the work required in the photo. The full loop lever is listed seperately. Let me know if you have any questions.
