A very nice condition Winchester Model 1895 Takedown in the iconic 405 WCF caliber. The rifle, even though it shows use and handling, has had excellent care. Evidently the previous owner took care of it as though his life depended on it, and maybe it did! The bore is near mint condition. All the metal is smooth with no signs of rust. All markings are crisp and well defined. A very nice overall 405.
